There you have it! An introduction to news feeds and some practical advice for using Vienna, an awesome, free, and open-source, news reader.

You can now scan many more headlines from many more web sites than with a web browser alone. Vienna can fetch headlines from dozens of web sites in a few seconds. Vienna isn't the only news reader for OS X out there, just look around if you find Vienna isn't suited for you.

If you want to add your two cents on how Vienna should grow as a software product, suggesting features and new ideas, you can do so at the forum that's set up just for that!

For now I don't have many feeds here at CompuDrew.com to subscribe to, just the main one, but that will change over time. I have a few more articles in mind for customizing Vienna, and would like to revisit this article to make the graphics a bit less clunky and a few more things...
